Make-Up Tutorials by Maskworld

The task was to design a make-up tip book for carnival.
This book should inspire and offer the buyer practical short instructions for great make-up. In the end I designed a handy softcover book with 30 make-up instructions on 70 pages. Topics like animals, fairy tales, carnival classics, festival, child make-up and monsters are represented in it. I did some of the product and mood shootings myself, just like the image editing. The rest of the production like the making of the costumes, the explanations and realization by the experienced make-up artist and make-up specialist and the printing are from MASKWORLD.
Part of the task was to design the book so that a non-designer can easily transfer the layout to a Halloween version or further editions.

Die Aufgabe war die Gestaltung eines Schminktipp Buchs für Karneval und Fasching.
Dieses Buch sollte inspirieren und dem Käufer praktische Kurzanleitungen für tolles Make-up bieten. Designt habe ich am Ende ein handliches Softcover-Buch mit 30 Schminkanleitungen auf 70 Seiten. Themen wie Tiere, Märchen, Karnevalsklassiker, Festival, Kinderschminken und Monster werden darin repräsentiert. Einige der Produkt- und Mood-Shootings habe ich selbst durchgeführt, genau wie die Bildbearbeitung. Die sonstige Produktion wie die Herstellung der Kostüme, die Erläuterungen und Umsetzungen der erfahrenen Maskenbildnerin und Make-up-Spezialistin und der Druck sind von MASKWORLD.
Ein Teil der Aufgabe war es das Buch so zu gestalten, dass ein Nichtdesigner das Layout einfach auf eine Halloween Version oder weitere Ausgaben übertragen kann.
